A Baby Boy Has the Most Incredible Hair Do at Eight Weeks Old

An eight-week-old baby boy named Junior, has received his first nickname, due to his incredible hair.

The newborn has been dubbed ‘Baby Bear’ because of his buoyant locks.

Junior’s mum, Chelsea Noon, mum-of-three, says people are shocked when she walks by with Junior. She gets a lot of questions from curious shoppers and passers-by.

Chelsea admits that although Junior looks like a bear because of his hair, when he’s upset or cross he looks more like a gremlin.

“When he was born it was quite thick but everybody said it would stop and that a lot of it would fall out.

“He hasn’t lost any – there’s none in the cot, none in his little chair or the pram, it’s literally just growing and it grows out not down so it sticks up.”

Everyone who passes Junior by does a double table because of his hair.

“Usually it takes me about 40 minutes to do my weekly shop in Asda and now it takes me two hours,” she said.

“Everyone stops and says: ‘Oh my god look at the baby’s hair,’ and then the next person will say: ‘He’s got so much hair’.

“The doctors say they are amazed and have never seen a baby with so much hair in all the time they have been working. Everyone’s shocked.”

Chelsea has no plans to cut Junior’s hair, even though she is a hairdresser by trade. She’s curious to see how long his mane grows out.

“I definitely don’t want to cut it, I want to see how long it actually does grow out. I don’t know where his hair has come from it’s like a big ball of candy floss.”

Chelsea says Junior’s two older brothers love having a younger brother with a lot of hair.

“His brothers really love him, my youngest is always running up to Junior saying ‘I want to pinch his fat cheeks’.

“We call him ‘Baby Bear’ because he looks like a little bear but when he’s angry he looks like a little gremlin.”

Junior’s personality and character are just as bold as his hair.

“He’s got a little smirk he puts on he gives a little cry when he wants to be picked up and then you pick him up and he gives you a look as if to say: ‘Yes, I got my own way’.

Chelsea says Junior completes the family and she doesn’t plan on adding any more babies to the family.

It’s an old wives tale that heartburn during pregnancy causes babies to have a lot of hair.

Chelsea admits her pregnancy was fine, but the delivery was awful.

“His head got stuck so they had to call the emergency people in so they were screaming at me to push and I just couldn’t get him out, he ripped me and then his head got out, then his shoulders got stuck and I lost a litre of blood so it was quite traumatic.

“Then obviously they weighed him and found out he was 10lbs and that’s probably why.

“He’s about 131/2 lbs now. Usually they lose a bit, but he didn’t he gained some.

“But this is the last one baby Junior, I’m not having another one – it would probably be a 12 pounder.”
