Check Out This Baby’s Reaction When He Clearly Sees His Mum For The First Time

We’ve seen videos of children reacting to when they can hear their mummy, but this video shows the reaction a four-month-old baby has when he can finally see his mummy.

Leopold Wilbur Reppond has oculocutaneous albinism (OCA) which causes poor vision as he is missing the pigment from their irises, which is the coloured part of the eye. His parents, David and Erin Reppond from Seattle, organized for their son to receive his first pair of glasses so he’d be able to see them properly, everyday.

The moment Mrs Reppond puts the glasses on her son, she exclaims “Hi Honey.” And Leopold’s reaction is so beautiful to watch. It was filmed by his dad who you can hear in the background, overwhelmed at his son’s reaction wearing the glasses.

Mr Reppond told the Daily Mail, “I had some issues holding the camera because I was crying so much.

“It’s just very touching. You cannot anticipate how you’re going to feel when something like that happens. It was very heartwarming.”
