Telling your child they are going to become an older sibling can be fun and exciting and a little daunting. There are so many ways parents have been revealing their new addition to their child, and this video by Sarah of This Mama Life is just one other beautiful way of creating memories around the announcement.
Sarah and her partner wanted to tell their daughter, Isla, that she was going to become a big sister in a very special and unique way. They set up a treasure hunt so that Isla could open some presents that would help her with her new ‘role’.
They filmed the whole treasure hunt, showing Isla opening packages that included a ‘Big Sister’ T-shirt, a book about being a big sister and the pregnancy announcement.
