Premature Baby Milestone Cards Help Premmie Parents Celebrate Each Leap

Premature babies are known as miracle babies for good reason. They are born fighters and their resilience often takes us by surprise. Each milestone is celebrated because premmie parents know the odds their little one had to face in order to reach it.

Which is why Amy Purling launched a new business called Miracle Mumma.

Miracle Mumma offers premature baby milestone cards to comfort premmie parents and help them celebrate the little leaps their babies make while in NICU.

Amy started her business because she gave birth to a premature baby a year ago in February 2016.

James was born prematurely at 30 weeks gestation and he had to stay in hospital for 5 weeks. During his stay, Amy spent time by his humidicrib, scribbling down in a journal and taking photos of each milestone. She wanted to capture each precious moment so she could share it with family and friends to keep them updated on James’ progress.

It was during this time the idea of premature milestone cards came to mind. Unfortunately, many of the existing baby milestone cards available weren’t suitable for baby James.

When James came home from hospital, Amy started to use a baby book to document his progress each month. She realized that the milestones were different to that of a full term baby. That was when she came up with the idea of a premature baby scrapbook which could be used by premmie parents like herself who wanted to document each milestone. The scrapbook is still in production stage, but the premature milestone cards are available.

Amy hopes that her products will help other premmie parents celebrate and document the big and unique leaps their bubbas make when facing incredible odds.

Amy already receives comments from other premmie parents who wished the cards were available when their premmie was born.

If you wish to order the Premature Baby Milestone Cards or the Scrapbook, head to Miracle Mumma.
