Baby name trend predictions are usually more hype than substance, because who really knows what names will be actually popular in 2018? We can only go by the popularity of names this year and watching the trends on the types of names chose.
Popsugar have put a list together of 30 names that they believe will move up the ranks and slide into the top slots of popular baby name for 2018. Some of the names on the list are well known and have made the top 50 list in recent years.
There is a strong emphasis on older, traditional names, with a few biblical names thrown in the mix.
Earlier this year, Nameberry released a list of top 100 baby names that have been most popular this year. A few of the top favourites from this year, have also been predicted to trend next year.
