Today’s Chuckle Comes to You Courtesy of This 8yo Singer/Songwriter’s Hit ‘I Wonder What’s Inside Your Butthole’
If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that there is a very fine line between creativity and sheer unadulterated lunacy. And also that humanity will find humour in absolutely anything during times of crisis.
This brings us to the story of this adorable eight-year-old girl, who has discovered a talent in writing and performing her own songs.
Jolee Dunn, from Los Angeles, has written an original song all about buttholes, and what might be inside them. She ponders her question with a repetitive verse that some might say references a nagging thought in one’s head, desperately seeking an answer.
Her thoughtful track was shared on Twitter by her proud mum Lisa, captioning her daughter’s latest hit: “Quite honestly, it slaps.”

Almost seven million people have watched the video, which sees Jolee singing: “I wonder what’s inside your butthole, maybe there is astronauts, maybe there is aliens, all inside your butthole. What’s inside your butthole? I always want to know.”
This is the pandemic anthem we didn’t know we needed but are completely thrilled to have, nevertheless.
Mum Lisa spoke to Buzzfeed about her talented daughter, clearly very proud of her achievements in the music industry of late.
“Jolee has always been super performative and the funniest person I have ever known.
“She is always making up songs, and lyrics are her strong suit.”
That is an understatement!
