A Warning About Family Bumper Stickers

A new warning has come out about family bumper stickers.

The popular stickers are placed on the back windscreen of the family car, sharing the family in caricature stick people.

The stick figure stickers can now be bought to customize what each person does/likes in the family.

Unfortunately the customization of these stickers can give criminals crucial information they need to commit a crime.

The stickers can give too much information away about your family, and if the wrong person finds this information, it can be valuable in the planning of a robbery.

For example, if a Dad is in the Army, it can be assumed he is away on deployment. If the wife is someone who grooms dogs or works in an office, it can be assumed she works 9 to 5 which gives a burglar the right information to know when to break into their property.

It can seem far fetched that a burglar will drive up behind a car and gather information from your family bumper sticker, especially when a lot of the information can also be found on the internet.

The warning is one that still needs to be taken into consideration.

Do you have these family bumper stickers on your car?
