We’ve all been that parent who has had to stand by their baby’s cot so they will go to sleep. The moment we leave, baby wakes up and we have to start all over again to get our baby to sleep.
A mum who was trying to get her toddler to sleep, has had her exit strategy taped via a camera in the baby’s nursery.
Caryn Chelin Morris, from South America, snuck out of her toddler’s room without him waking and her shimmying moves were caught on camera.
The video footage of the mum shuffling on her back towards the nursery door was hilarious and when her husband, Tyrone Morris saw it, he shared it on Facebook with the following post:
“The best thing about having cameras in your house is watching your wife trying to exit the room after putting your son down!! Sometimes you have to use your initiative for your exit!! PS The SA Army are calling me for you to do training on the reverse leopard crawl !!”
The 45 second clip has gone viral, amassing 15 million views since being posted on the 15th January.
The video has resonated with parents around the world because it’s an all too common event in most family households.
“Now that has made my day,” one mum wrote. “That’s excellent and some brilliant backwards crawling.”
Another wrote: “Hahaha. I’ve also had to sneak out plenty times but I have never tried the ‘reverse leopard crawl’ – this is next level. Hats off to you.”
