Parents Share the Worst Birthday Presents You Could Give Their Kids

Now that the year is in full swing (how did we get to Easter already?!) your child may have been invited to birthday parties and you’ve wondered what the heck to buy for the kids?

It has to be budget friendly and something the parents won’t hate you for buying.

Or do you even consider the parents, and just think about what the kids will enjoy the most?

I know my mother didn’t think of me when she bought all three of my girls an Elsa Barbie doll that sings ‘Let it Go’, for Christmas. I may do exactly as the doll sings and let them all go… into the bin.

It seems like I’m not the only parent that has experienced a present failure.

A new video from a trio of mums called The BreakWomb have shared the 7 worst gifts for kids, as listed by parents.

The list includes any toys that make noise, require batteries, make a mess or need adult intervention (ie build-it-yourself).

Parents have resonated with the video, commenting on the worst toys their children have received. Here are some of our favourites.

What’s the worst Birthday present your child has received? (And yes, we know it’s the thought that counts. This post is tongue-in-cheek.)
