Disney reportedly has some explaining to do with parents and children not happy about how heartbreaking the storyline is in their recently released holiday movie, The Good Dinosaur.
Many parents have taken to social media to complain about how sad they and their children were walking out of the cinema after seeing the movie, saying it took them back to Mufusa’s death in The Lion King in 1994.
One Mother wrote:
I assumed our trip to The Good Dinosaur would end happily. My god was I wrong. “I never want to see that again,” exclaimed my six-year-old. “That was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen,” my seven-year-old said.
People are describing the movie as a revamp of The Lion King mixed with The Land Before Time.
