For Every Mum Who Has Ever Felt Judged, Watch This Yoplait Ad

No mum is immune to judgement . Mums are judged everyday. The judgement can range from breastfeeding in public or bottle feeding their baby from birth. Mums are judged on going back to work too early, or not going back at all.

Mum judgement is everywhere and it’s often compounded further from opinions of older generations or simply from other mums who are riding the same boat.

But a new ad in the US by Yoplait has taken on the issue, encouraging mums to ‘Mom On’.

The television commercial was only released a week ago, and it has endorsed a message all mums need to hear.

In a press release from the yoghurt brand, the initiative explained, “Yoplait is standing up for moms everywhere by shedding light on this daily issue and helping disarm the judgment through a blend of humor, confidence-building and empathy for all of those taking on the most challenging job in the world.”

The ad shows different mums going about their everyday lives, caring for their children, facing judgement for the simple things they do every day from breastfeeding in public to wearing yoga pants.

The ad encourages mums not to worry what others think and to do what’s right for their families.

Yoplait marketing communications senior manager, Susan Pitt, explained, “As we’ve talked with moms over the years, mom judgment comes up frequently and is something we want to help them disarm.”

“We know how much moms love their kids and don’t want to be boxed into one right way to mom, so Yoplait is surrounding moms with support and telling them, ‘You’ve got this! Mom On.’”
