Maisie Knight and partner Jay Clarke, experienced a heart-warming and unexpected interaction with an Orangutan at Colchester Zoo, UK, earlier this month.
Maisie, 37 weeks pregnant noticed that Rajang the Orangutan quickly became fixated with her swollen belly, and attempted to kiss it through the glass as her partner filmed the gesture.
Jay Clarke commented beneath his Youtube video “I put my belly too the glass and got a dirty look then when I placed my hand on [her he tried] to push my hand away, my partner returned her belly to the glass and Rajang touched and kissed her belly again through the glass. Truly a special animal that has touched our hearts.”
