It’s true a breastfeeding mother can feed her baby anytime and anywhere, with one bride proving just that.
A photograph of Christina Torino-Benton, breastfeeding her baby at her wedding has gone viral online.
Christina was marrying her husband Danny in Montreal earlier this month when her 9-month-old-daughter got hungry during the ceremony. When the baby started to cry, Christina popped her boob out from her dress to feed her baby.
“I tried for maybe two minutes to allow some family members to calm her down, but having missed her nap, and in that heat, it wasn’t going to happen,” the 30-year-old told People.
“There was no question,” she continued. “I had to nurse, and I wasn’t hesitant about it at all.”
Christina shared the wedding picture on Facebook page Breastfeeding Mama Talk, and it has been liked by 8000 people.
The mum captioned the picture, “That moment when you’re getting married and your baby gets hungry,” she wrote. “Feeling SO proud of myself!”
