HuffPost UK looked at baby name data from the Office for National Statistics and found that there are many similarities between the most recent official list of the most popular baby names in England and Wales and the old fashioned names which were popular in the 1900s.

    A lot of people use the names of ancestors so I think there will always be a tendency for names to become popular over the years
