In her post, Kyesha stated “This rude, disrespectful, and awful behavior is unacceptable and they owe you an apology.”   The post quickly went viral, and generated over 245,000 likes.  As the post spread, the woman involved – Rebecaa Boyd came forward and left the following comment:

I am the mom from the movie theatre, I had taken my daughter to see Cinderella..I was very upset and disappointed in the girls behavior…the note from their mom brought me to tears and shows there is still good people in the world. I have no hard feelings towards them and I am proud of their parents. The girls are not not bad…they are children. Glad they are learning a lesson. I hope if my teenagers are out and they act up…I hope someone says something to them.

Kyesha’s daughters will be writing an apology letter to Rebecca and her children, along with contributing part of their allowance to contribute to the Boyd’s next visit to the movies.

When asked how her children were reacting to the publicity this post has received, Kyesha states “My girls are so mortified, they are humiliated. And that’s OK because I told them, ‘You know what, you’re not going to do this again.”

This story looks like it might also have a happy ending, thanks to the publicity this story has received, the Boyd family has received several job offers.  Rebecca has also told ABC News, that she would be happy to see the girls again and stated “I believe they’re good girls, they just made some mistakes.”

How would you have handled this situation?
