Supermum Creates Super Hero Hearing Aids for Kids

A mum in the UK has taken supermum status to a whole new level.

Sarah Ivermee has been hailed a supermum for coming up with a concept to decorate children’s hearing aids. Her initial idea was adding nail stickers to kids hearing aids so that kids wouldn’t feel self-conscious wearing them.

Ivermee’s son Freddie suffers hearing loss in one ear and is deaf in the other ear. He wears a cochlear implant that sends signals to the brain. Often the implants are bulky and plain, but Ivermee came up with the idea of using superhero nail stickers to decorate the implants and give them flair.

As a result, Lugs was born which offers fun, colourful hearing aids that kids will love and want to wear.

As you can see the designs are incredible and the kids are pretty proud of sporting a superhero on their ear.
