The Hottest Baby Names of 2017 ~ Is Your Baby’s Name on This List?

It’s that time of year again! Nameberry, the website for all things baby name-related, have released their annual list of the most popular names for 2017.

Nameberry’s popular names list measures which names attract the largest share of their nearly 250 million page views, versus how many babies actually receive that name. It’s a good measure of parents’ interest in baby names and a predictor of which names will become more popular in the future.

Three new names vaulted onto the Top Ten this year for each gender: Cora, Maia, and Amara for girls, and Theodore, Jasper, and Henry for boys.

Here are the top 100 names for girls and boys in 2017, with the top ten in bold. Are any of your children’s names on these lists?

Jill is a busy wife and mother of four young children. She loves nothing more than making people giggle, and loves to settle in with a glass of wine (or four) and wander about the internet. Feel free to follow her to see all the cool stuff she finds!
