A video of an autistic boy enjoying his first Coldplay concert in Mexico City has gone viral after his dad, Luis Vasquez, shared the footage of his son emotionally reacting to the concert.

The boy was so overwhelmed with emotion he started sobbing uncontrollably, while his dad got emotional and started singing the lyrics to his son.

The tear-jerking footage has been shared by Coldplay themselves, with the band admitting it was this type of reaction that spurred them on to keep performing.

Watch the video and you will be moved to tears. The film has inspired others to speak out about their autism, with one commenting,

‘I always say to myself I’m not autism, I am myself.’
